West Monroe would like to invite you to hear Richard Johnson our Interim Pastor.
Pastor Johnson has more than 40 years experience as Music Minister, Counselor, Evangelist and Pastor. After five years in Evangelism, he has served churches as Pastor in the Southeast United States. He has conducted revivals and preached in Bible Conferences in 17 states.
Pastor Johnson now serves as a Public Relations Minister with Bible Broadcast Network in Charlotte, NC. He has served for 17 years with BBN as Stations Ministry Representative, English Network Operations Manager, and Administrator of the BBN Web Ministries. He now serves BBN as the Public Relations Minister Representative. Pastor Johnson is also a Christian Counselor with certification in Family and Finances.

GOOD NEWS CLUB!!!
There will be a Good News Club training session on Saturday, October 25, from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. in the childrens choir room located in the middle educational building. There are two meetings each month of the Women's Ministry. The first Monday of the month there is a Luncheon Meeting beginning at 11:30 a.m. There is also a meeting on the first Tuesday evening for those who can not attend the Monday meeting. The Tuesday meeting is a bible study beginning at 7:30 p.m. Both of these meetings are held in the Family Ministry Center. Youth Mission Workday
Saturday, October 25 the Youth will be working at Fair Havens Ministry, a new orphanage in the works. This workday will include: picking up trash, weed trimming, trimming shrubs and painting. The Youth will be meeting at the church at 8:30 a.m. to begin the day and return around 1:00 p.m. If you would like to participate please contact Pastor Jay before October 22.
Youth-Operation Christmas Child
We have reserved twenty-five spots for this year's event. We always have a great time working to package the shoe boxes at Samaritan's Purse corporate center in Charlotte. We are scheduled to work on Thurs., Dec 11, leaving the church at 3:45 p.m. and returning around 10:30 p.m. Please let Pastor Jay know you are interested before Nov. 16.
Mid-Week Prayer and Bible Study
Join with us on Wednesday evenings at 6:45pm for prayer and bible study. Everyone is encouraged to be a part of this special time.
Youth "Episode 15"
Winter Youth Retreat for 2015: Many of our Youth attended this event last year at Ridgecrest and had a great time. The weekend for this Winter's Retreat is Feb. 27 - Mar. 1. Early registration fee is $139. if a deposit of $40 is turned in by November 2. Late registration is $169. Contact Pastor Jay for complete details.

Women of Faith S.S. Class
The Women of Faith Sunday School Class is beginning an new study written by Prisilla Shirer called "Jonah - Navigating a Life Interrupted." This class is for ladies of all ages. The class meets at 9:00 a.m. in Room 501 in the Family Life Center. Workbooks for this study are provided at no charge. For more information contact Diane Godfrey, at the church office, 704-283-2532.
Immediately following the evening service on Sunday, October 26 there will be a time of fellowship in the Family Life Center to show appreciation for our pastors. Please bring your favorite desserts.
